Singapore Gift Hamper Discounts: Percentage Off, Dollar Off or Free Delivery?

Gift hamper discounts in Singapore mostly come in three forms: a percentage off, a fixed dollar amount off, or free delivery. They are not interchangeable. Which one wins depends on how much you are spending and how many people you are sending to.
Percentage off
A percentage discount scales with your basket. On a single S$60 hamper, 10% saves S$6. On a S$600 batch it saves S$60. That makes percentage codes attractive for larger or multi-recipient orders, and less exciting for one small gift.
Dollar amount off
A fixed reduction, for example S$10 off orders above a set spend, is strongest on modest baskets. If your order sits just above the minimum, a fixed amount often beats a small percentage. Watch the threshold: adding an unnecessary item to reach it can cancel the benefit.
Free delivery

A quick way to compare
Work out the total each offer gives you on your real basket:

- Add delivery, and GST if it is not already included.
- Compare the final totals across offers and merchants.
