Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 September 2026

This policy explains what information HamperCoupon ("we", "us") collects when you use hampercoupon.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We aim to comply with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

Information we collect

  • Newsletter: your email address, when you subscribe.
  • Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message.
  • Coupon submissions: the offer details you provide and your email address, so we can follow up.
  • Usage counts: when you view a coupon page, reveal a code or click "Get Deal", we record the action with the time, the device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), the browser family and the referring website. We do not store your IP address or full user-agent string with these records.
  • Security data: to limit abuse, forms use rate limiting based on a one-way hash of your IP address. These entries are short-lived and are deleted automatically.

How we use it

  • To send the newsletter you asked for (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided).
  • To reply to your messages and review coupon submissions.
  • To understand which pages and offers are useful, and to keep the site secure.

We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use a session cookie only when it is needed to make a form or the administration area work securely. It does not track you across sites. If Google Analytics is enabled on this site, it loads only after you accept it in the consent notice. See our cookie policy.

Third parties

When you click through to a merchant, you leave our site and the merchant's own privacy policy applies. Some merchant links are affiliate links; see the affiliate disclosure. Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf where needed to run the site.

How long we keep data

Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages and coupon submissions are kept for as long as needed to handle them and for reasonable record-keeping. Usage counts are kept in aggregate form to help us improve the site.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access or correct personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent for us to use it. To do so, contact us. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use measures such as encrypted connections, hashed passwords for administrators, access controls and input validation. No online service is completely secure, but we work to protect the data we hold.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
